The county is holding a meeting on December 19th to decide whether they will install a solar field. This is a 15 million dollar project! Who will fund this ? They have been talking about this since atleast October and have been having meetings sending contractors out to survey and failing to notify the community of this!! It is recommended a solar field be placed atleast 1.2 miles from any residence, they are looking at taking our ( Grays Flower Garden’s) horse pasture that we have had our horses in and we have maintained that property for 30 years! This puts the solar field within probably about 1/4 mile of Feather River college, FRC student dorms, our business where our family also lives and we sell organic produce plants to the community, West Ranch is across the street from us where many families also live.
