The application for the Moreton Morrell development has now gone in.

This development will cover 156 acres of more prime agricultural land in Warwickshire, just up the road from Radford Semele.

This really accentuates the clustering effect - the 'cumulative impact' referred to in CC2 b) of the Warwick District Local Plan.

In full, the policy reads:

"Proposals for new low carbon and renewable technologies, including associated infrastructure, will be supported in principle subject to the following criteria being demonstrated: the proposal has been designed to minimise the impact (including any cumulative impacts) on the natural environment in terms of landscape, and ecology and visual impact."

Developers' preference for the lowest cost option leads to clustering around sub-stations, intensifying harm to the landscape and the wildlife. This is going to be our biggest material objection when the Radford application is submitted.
