The proposed sale and development of the E2Gold mine site Bandore is located along the shore of Lower Shebandowan on the lake side of Hyway 11 from Swamp River to Rossmere Creek .

The impact to Residents, Campers, Wildlife, Fish habitat, our Drinking water, our beautiful forest, our quality of life & our property values are of great concern. 

The basic operation of any type of gold ore extraction will involve 24 hour operation of heavy equipment of all types, as well as all hours of drilling and blasting. There will be boarders and gates with restricted access to lands with historic connections to generations dating back over 100 years. 

The basic process of mining of any type will release heavy metal contaiments with a fall out effect that will cover miles of square area in very close proximity to our lake and private lots with cottages .

It is likely to cast Shebandowan into a state of no return and end generations of many families who have enjoyed a long history of Lake life enviable to many. 

Your support to this petition to stop the sale to a mine developer will be sent on our behalf to our MP,  MLA, MNDMNRF, MOE. Then it will be on record that we the residents and camper/stakeholders are in strong opposition to the sale of Band-Ore Shebandowan.
