Swindon North & South MPs (Will Stone and Heidi Alexander)
Swindon Borough Council's Cabinet (Councillor Kate Tomlinson)
Local Ward Councillors for both Stratton and Liden
The Swindon Advertiser newsdesk to request urgent media coverage
Our message to them is non-negotiable:
Swindon's secondary special schools are critically oversubscribed and overcapacity—it is simply unsafe to force more pupils into them. They are not the best fit to provide the high-dependency "Total Communication" bubble or fulfill the sensory needs of chalet kids. Expanding The Chalet School is the definitive answer. We need this ready for September 2027, and we are fully open to temporary or modular placements to get it done.
