This is a very dangerous bill targeting small business owners and citizens. Everyday there is looting, shoplifting and Grab & Runs all over the State. Only a few big ones are being reported. All the small retailers thefts are going unnoticed and unreported in the media. There is no help from the police or our government.

This bill SB-553 will allow the  PERPETRATORS TO GO SCOT FREE with no consequences while the business owners and their employees will be held responsible for stopping the perpetrators.

This bill has already passed the State Senate and is slated to pass the State Assembly on September 1st, if we all do not PROTEST THIS BILL. Please call your district assemblymen/women, write to them to vote against this bill or else all of us in California will be adversely affected.
