Are you aware that the City of Ottawa must receive your vote by NO LATER than NOVEMBER 8th?

If they receive your ballot after November 8th it will not be counted. Please send it by Monday or Tuesday latest. Make your VOTE COUNT.

If you don't send it in you may be paying a levy, an additional tax, of between $160 to $460 per year or UP TO $4140 for the next 9 years.

This levy is simply another vehicle for the city to collect additional tax from you to purchase a golf course. Even though the Yes-side claims this is not the case, their documents from the start have been claiming so. 

Additionally, the amount the city collects will only be used if Mattamy does not execute its buy-back clause as stated in the letter of intent. There is a good probability they will and the city is under no obligation to refund your tax money.

Would you trust a city administration that has repeatedly proven incompetent from:

• Delays, over-budget, and dysfunction of the LRT?
• How about the financial phishing scandal of the City Treasurer?
• Significant conflicts of interests by certain Councillors who collect money from developers to fund their re-election campaign?
• Implementing a failed levy for Kanata Lakes and the lawsuits regarding the broken developer contract?

Would you trust the City to collect a tax to purchase a golf course? The City and the SCA are setting a dangerous precedent for our community and City of Ottawa residents.
