Hello No Levy supporters

We want to let you know the petition along with another list of 30-plus names, has been forwarded to Ottawa City Council. Council is voting on Oct 9th to determine whether the levy ballot vote be allowed to proceed. We respectfully requested that the Council vote no to the allowing the levy ballot vote.

We received replies from some Councillors that they will be voting Yes to allow the ballot to proceed.

We also received a reply from Councillor Harder stating that the ballot will go ahead and the levy vote will take place.

Please be aware, we sent the petitions to the Councillors and believe they may, and probably will, send the list of names to the SCA and SWG. If they do this then Councillors will violate their code of conduct and public trust.

We believe they will cross this line and attempt to directly contact you to convince you to accept the proposal. If you are contacted please let us know so we can file a complaint with the City of Ottawa's Integrity Commissioner on behalf of Stonebridge residents.

Make your voices heard. VOTE NO before November 14th when you receive the ballot in the mail.
