Hello fellow Stonebridge Residents

Thank you for signing the petition. But as you know, the petition can only do so much and we're quickly discovering the City (Mayor and local Councillors) fully support this proposal. So, you know there's something afoot.

We need more from residents than just signing the petition! We need your help.

• Please visit http://stonebridgefacts.com/volunteers-needed/ and please connect with us and please let us know if you can help in some way.
• We're seeking a lawyer who lives in the community that could offer legal advice and guidance. Please let us know if you can suggest someone.
• Tomorrow night, the Stonebridge Working Group will host a meeting at the Nepean Sportsplex.  The meeting is intended to update residents on new developments and answer questions. Please go and question.
• The SWG report will be sent to committee on Tuesday, October 1, and if the City's Finance Committee agrees, a vote will be held by ballot for Stonebridge residents.
• Several new pieces of information have been revealed by the Stonebridge Working Group, including that all Stonebridge homeowners WILL become owners of the Stonebridge Golf Course should the vote pass (it's right on the stonebridgeca.com website in the latest Q&A section). 

This alone should concern every resident of Stonebridge.  Also new is the golf course tax, according to the SWG report will be in place from 2021-2029.  Extra money collected, above the $6 million to purchase the golf course by the City of Ottawa, will go toward legal fees and maintenance costs of the golf course.

We need your support tomorrow in order to show people that they are not alone in their concerns and that there are like minded residents that are just as concerned.
