Stop the Sale of the Misleading Book Exploiting a Double Murder Case

Stop the Sale of the Misleading Book Exploiting a Double Murder Case
The Issue
My sister is Abreeya Brown. On February 28, she was forced into a car trunk at gunpoint, alongside her friend Ashley Conaway, and both were ruthlessly murdered. During their horrific ordeal, Abreeya bravely contacted us, revealing that Brandon Cain was responsible. Five men are charged for this devastating crime, which, to this day, haunts me and my family.
Recently, a book emerged - a tool of intimidation, exploiting our painful journey and to garner undue sympathy as well as using it for financial gain. The author, synonymous with the case, even included witness statements from the trial, a base attempt to intimidate those who stood against him.
It's disturbing how the book, spreading falsehood and fear, remains available for sale, causing significant distress to affected families. We have endured threats, after all, during the original trial so this reinforces the same fear during the trial.
This book's continued availability is a mockery of justice and disrespects the memory of Abreeya and Ashley. Our sisters did not deserve this fate, and their relatives living in anguish do not deserve this ongoing torment.
We urge the necessary entities, publishers, and online retailers to cease the sale and circulation of this malign book. We ask for your support in making our voices heard, for the safekeeping of our integrity, and for respect towards the memory of Abreeya and Ashley.
Please sign this petition, stand with us against manipulation and the promotion of heinous acts, and help end the spread of misleading and damaging narratives. It's time justice truly serves the innocent, not victimizes them further.
