Dear Newberry Township Supervisors,

I am a resident of __(Newberry Township or Goldsboro)__ and currently live at __(your home address__). I urge you to stop exploring the sale of the Newberry Township Sewer Plant. This will not only impact residents, but also business owners and the current employees. Outsourcing of this plant will only lead to increased sewer rates for both residents and business owners, even with a bid that guarantees a fixed rate for 2 years. The potential amount an owner will have to pay additional each quarter is more than double. Additionally, 4 out of the 5 township supervisors are on private sewer so they will not feel financial implications of the sale of the sewer plant. 

In addition to outsourcing of this plant, if sewer backs up into someone's home or business, it will take longer for the new sewer company to come out and fix the problem as most of them outsource and contract out to fix problems. 

I urge you to please stop exploring the sale of the Newberry Township Sewer Plant and to start exploring additional options to help with the reasoning of selling the plant.
