Stop the Sale of Loud Fireworks and Replace with Low Noise Fireworks
The Issue
Petition for Low Noise Fireworks
In Memory Of Kiki
This is such a sad post to write, actually heartbreaking, such a unnecessary early death of a beautiful young 3 year bulldog called Kiki whom fireworks claimed the life of, the poor girl died of heart attack she was so frightened by the loud bangs. Her owner Dawn is devastated to say the least, they should still be together making happy memories.
There are people who want a ban altogether, but that is very unlikely to happen, so what Dawn and I plus many others want to see a ban of fireworks sold to the general public, have displays on set days only, use lower noise where possible.
Please before the next loud bangs go off , can we sign this petition write to MPs, share as many times as you can. Please help Dawn keep her memory of Kiki alive by helping everyone with pets, wildlife, people who are traumatised by these fireworks.
So help us call for a change to the sale of fireworks to ensure that they are inclusive and considerate of everyone.
By signing this petition, you're not only supporting safer, more inclusive fireworks celebrations, but you can also make a positive impact in other ways. Instead of buying fireworks this season.
The loud, unpredictable noise causes considerable distress to so many. Our beloved pets, including dogs, cats, horses, and our precious wildlife, suffer from the deafening explosions. But it's not just animals. Elderly people, those with PTSD, noise sensitivity, heart or other health conditions, also experience anxiety, discomfort and serious health implications. People who suffer mental health problems are affected, as are the people with autism.
Fireworks can cause both physical harm and emotional distress, affecting humans and animals alike.
That's why we're asking to stop the sale of fireworks to private households and allow public events to use only low noise displays.
Let's create inclusive celebrations that everyone – humans and animals – can enjoy.
Please sign the petition today and share it with your community.
