IMPORTANT UPDATE TO QUADRA MCKENZIE PLAN - PLEASE READ!

Saanich Planners will be presenting an updated draft of the Quadra McKenzie Plan to Saanich Council on Monday July 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Hall om 770 Vernon Ave. 

The plan now proposes an increase to the maximum building height from 18 storeys to 24 storeys in the Quadra McKenzie Centre,

It also leaves in place the plan to make Quadra Street a Complete Street, which in plain English refers to removing one lane in either direction for cars, trucks, and buses.

It is important that you attend this meeting to show your continued opposition to the scale of this plan!
