There's a better option than 5 million sq ft on a toxic dump — sign now

380 of us have signed in just two weeks!  That's real momentum — but the Redwood City Council and Planning Commission need to hear a lot more than 380 voices before they decide between two rigged options: do nothing, or approve the largest development in the city's history on top of a toxic legacy dump.

So many generous supporters have already chipped in to promote this petition, Kris M, Howie S, Michael G, Dave W, Sheila B, Claudia M, and many anonymously — and we're adding to that now, putting more behind it this week to get it in front of even more Redwood City and Peninsula residents.

If you've already signed, go further: submit a letter or spoken comment to the decision-makers. The Planning Commission and Council are currently only studying two options — leave the site alone, or approve all 5 million square feet over an unlined toxic dump. They need to hear that there's a third option on the table: the Livable Plan, which still allows real growth (up to 2 million square feet, double what's there today) but with enforceable limits on traffic and a 5-year construction timeline instead of 25.
