The Issue

Quick Summary:

Allowing a Light Manufacturing redistricting of 690 W. State Street has the potential to be detrimental to the residence, small businesses, cemetery, schools and churches currently residing, providing services, paying respect to, being educated and worshiping in this area. Light Manufacturing zoned areas are subject to increased traffic on public streets (such as highway 36), an increase of decibel allowance (per Burlington’s Ordinance 315-95A), an increase in air and soil pollutants, noxious and odorous gases in addition to a decrease in home values of those homes affected by the aforementioned nuisances.

Make sure to show up to the Committee of the Whole Meeting Scheduled:

November 18th, 2025,6:30pm

224 E. Jefferson St. (City for Burlington Police Station)
