S.4090 - Dietary Supplement Listing Act of 2022 was introduced in April of 2022. Essentially, if passed, this bill will restrict the use of natural herbs by placing them in the category of drugs and requiring FDA approval for use & distribution. Natural herbs are often referred to as supplements and have always been categorized as foods because they grow in nature and nourish the body. This bill may potentially put a lot of holistic, naturopathic and herbalist based practices out of business or limit their means to help those seeking natural, herbal solutions. Many people have benefited and found cures for their illness and disease with the use of natural medicine which has been practiced for centuries. We the people have the opportunity to use our voice to stop this before it is passed as a law!
