The city is being accused of poor scholarship by two respected Historians. Scotland's most eminent Historian Sir Tom Devine revealed in 2020 that he warned council about the substandard research of staff and that it appeared they had an agenda. Professor Emeritus Nick Rogers of York University has accused the city of " not meeting the professional standards of inquiry". Details in the link below.
