Mr. Washington has been the band director at Westbury for 17 years. He has made a difference in so many students lives. He dedicates countless hours to the band program and students. Majority of the band students graduate with scholarships and receive degrees from institutions of higher learning. Our students deserve this positive and very influential band director to continue to have them strive to be the best. We have options to send our students to any school but we chose Westbury due to the excellent band program and the leadership of Mr. Washington. Removal of this Director will negatively impact the students emotionally and mentally. We want him reinstated immediately.
