Our children deserve outdoor spaces to play, learn, and grow. The playgound field at Cassingham is not just a place for recreation; it serves as an essential extension of the classroom and the community. It is the ONLY open outdoor space in Central Bexley.   Unfortunately, the School Board's recent facilities plan threatens to take away this crucial outdoor space.       


Studies have consistently shown that outdoor play has numerous benefits, including reducing stress, increasing attention spans, and fostering creativity.  The School Board is prioritizing immediate development over the long-term wellbeing of our kids. This decision does not reflect the values that we hold dear in our community. 

We urge the School Board to reconsider their facilities plan and work with the community to find a solution that preserves vital outdoor spaces for our children.
