In today’s The West Australian newspaper, horticultural expert Sabrina Hahn advocates building happiness “from the ground up.” She writes:

”Interacting with nature has been repeatedly shown to have beneficial effects on emotional and psychological health for people of all ages.

By signing and sharing this petition, you are helping send a clear message to the City of Subiaco that maintaining Rankin Gardens as a cool, green, tranquil space for quiet enjoyment in the heart of Subiaco is vital for well-being.

With your help, we have reached 561 signatures together. Can we reach 600? Even one extra signature a day over the next 40 days would be fantastic!

When you share this petition, please emphasise to your contacts that they don’t need to pay anything. They also don’t have to become a member of change.org.

There is only a few weeks left in the public consultation period for the City of Subiaco’s Civic Precinct project.

If you want to save Rankin Gardens from being turned into an outdoor concert venue behind our war memorial, please keep sharing this petition and encourage people you know to sign. I also encourage you to submit your objections on the City’s website haveyoursay.subiaco.wa.gov.au or by email to city@subiaco.wa.gov.au headed Civic Precinct.

Thank you again for your continuing support.
