At the risk of causing everyone petition fatigue, especially at this busy time of year, it would be wonderful if you could keep spreading the word and sharing this petition to family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues - anyone keen to preserve precious green, tranquil spaces in our urban environment.

During this process, I’ve often wondered what the people who built the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Clock Tower in 1923 would think of the council’s plans to redevelop these beautiful gardens into a concert/events venue. Shameful? Disrespectful? Saddening? All of the above.
