I am a resident of Queen Creek and have personally experienced the distress and inconvenience caused by the Side By Side Parade that happens every December. This event, though intended for enjoyment, has become a significant safety threat and traffic challenge for our community.

Participants, in large numbers, often neglect our established rules and traffic laws, making the streets hazardous and difficult to police. It is not uncommon to see these participants disrespecting our community by dangerously maneuvering their vehicles onto sidewalks, causing turmoil and fear among pedestrians. Regular traffic patterns are severely disrupted, leading to additional time spent in commute and countless moments of frustration for us, the residents of Queen Creek.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, failure to follow traffic rules is a leading cause of accidents across the country. Ignoring this risk and allowing the parade to continue indefinitely puts our community in harm's way. It is imperative that we take action now to prevent further disturbances and potential harm.
