Altavista Area Power Line Coalition Update

The online petition is going well. It has brought awareness to many of our neighbors that did not and would not have known anything about the power line construction, had this petition and Facebook page not been started. We have some HIGH IMPACT BACKERS on our side that I will tell more about soon. I want to submit the petition to the decision makers very soon, and I NEED YOUR HELP!

 There are a number of our neighbors that do not have internet or are hesitant to sign online. For this reason, I have also started the same petition on paper that will be attached and submitted with the online version. I am looking for volunteers to take the paper version to your neighbors that have not signed and  ask them to sign. This is a very easy task, because EVERYONE that is told what can happen.... will sign. We need 100% to back our cause to get this power line stopped from running right in the middle of our back yards! If you or someone you know are willing to get some signatures, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP and I will make sure you get them. This is much simplier than a court battle, so PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for your support! I have been overwhelmed by the number of people that have told me they are 100% behind this fight. This is not a fight for a few people, this is a fight for the entire Altavista Area and it's growth into the future!
