Stop the proposed EPA Radon program funding cuts in the 2013 EPA budget

Radon gas is a known (class A) cancer causing agent that is directly linked to 21,000 deaths per year (one person every 25 minutes dies from lung cancer directly related to Radon gas) here in the United States. Radon effects everyone. Everyone includes our senior citizens and our children. All Americans deserve the right to breathe Radon free air in their homes, places of work and in the schools our children attend.

The EPA is proposing cutting the Radon program and grant funding by more than 80%. This will greatly reduce the ability of the individual states to help get the word out about the dangers of Radon gas and its health effects (lung cancer). We the under signed request that the congress of the United States stop the EPA from cutting this funding from the EPA budget now and in the future.
