The Issue

As a resident of the Big Muddy Creek Ranchettes in Converse/Natrona County, I am deeply concerned about the proposed data center by Prometheus Hyperscale in our community. The data center, planned adjacent to my property, threatens the tranquility and environment of our neighborhood. Many of us moved here for the peace and natural beauty, and this project jeopardizes the very reasons we chose this place to call home.

The construction and operation of a data center can introduce numerous issues, including noise pollution, increased traffic, and environmental degradation. These factors not only disrupt daily life but also potentially lower property values and detract from the pristine quality of our surroundings.

Furthermore, data centers require significant energy consumption, which could lead to increased utility demands in our area, potentially resulting in higher costs for residents. The environmental impact of such a facility could also be detrimental, affecting local wildlife and the ecosystem.

We urge our local officials to reconsider this project and explore alternative locations that do not encroach upon residential areas or natural landscapes. It is crucial for community voices to be heard and for us to stand together in opposition to a project that does not align with our community's best interests and values.

Please join us in protecting the character and environmental integrity of the Big Muddy Creek Ranchettes and surrounding areas by signing this petition. Let's ensure our homes remain a sanctuary for ourselves and future generations.
