The Issue

This issue strikes deeply within me. Many people I know have had to resort to buying Hartz products due to their affordability and easy availability. However, I have witnessed multiple heart-wrenching instances where domestic pets lost their lives after being treated with the brand's flea and tick pesticides. Hartz, a notable brand in the pet-care industry, needs to be shut down for the safety of dogs and cats all over the world.

Hartz products have been linked to an increasing number of pet deaths and severe health issues. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, out of the 75,000 reported incidents of negative reactions to pet-care products in 2008, the majority were related to items from the Hartz brand (EPA report 2008). This direct correlation suggests that the brand poses a significant risk to our beloved animals.

We believe that no pet owner should have to risk their pet's life due to affordability and accessibility of products. Prioritizing cost-effectiveness over health is not an ethical practice. We plea for support in ending the production of potentially harmful Hartz products and securing the safety of pets worldwide. Sign this petition to save our furry friends from unnecessary harm; our collective voice can enact change.
