Moreover, the construction and continuous operation of such a large facility can lead to increased air and noise pollution, which can adversely affect our wildlife and the health of local residents. Traffic congestion is also likely to increase significantly, disrupting the peaceful life our community cherishes. A study by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory found that noise pollution can severely impact local biodiversity by affecting species' behaviors and habitats.
The aesthetic appeal of Prince Edward County is another major concern. The quaint and picturesque charm that draws tourists and supports local businesses might be compromised, leading to economic repercussions if visitors decide to take their vacations elsewhere.
