Burr Ridge paying business owner for loss in sales: changing the main traffic artery  pattern and eliminating storefront parking has real consequences - BR proves it. Who will foot the bill when our CH businesses lose sales if a plaza limiting access to our downtown commerce district is approved? Our small shops lost sales during the test closure in May - as much as 40%. And cars backed up almost to the train tracks. We cannot take the risk of having permanent losses and safety issues in Clarendon Hills.

Wear any RED shirt to show united opposition to this ill-conceived, needless permanent plaza plan. We need to keep packing the board room. Residents and our small businesses, with signs now in their storefront windows, are taking a strong stand.
