This is a story from the Star Tribune this morning. It' about the Mississippi, but virtually everything they talk about relating to over-development of our natural resources could be applied to the Minnesota River Valley. It's a pretty long read but worth the investment in your time. When do we stop taking what can't be replaced? When do we realize that disrupting nature in potentially irreversible ways for our own benefit will eventually have consequences? Please, please, please reach out to your representatives and those running for election this fall. Tell them you want something wild and natural left for future generations. Tell them to #Savetheriverbottoms !!!
