So, you want to know what you can do to be part of stopping politics as usual and keeping big asphalt form making a killing in Minnesota River Valley?
1) Sign the petition if you haven't and share it with your family, friends and neighbors. Heck....share it with random strangers on the street. http://chn.ge/1foLX2S
2) Contact your State Representatives. All of them. Tell them that the proposed paved trail in the Minnesota River Valley flood zone is fiscally irresponsible and potentially dangerous to the fragile environment down there. Please be polite and professional. Find your representative here: http://bit.ly/1mDkMzv
3) Come and be part of the process....especially and specifically if you are a Bloomington Resident. The City of Bloomington will be voting on their Minnesota River Valley Strategic Plan (MRVSP) and is looking for your input. Come and be speak your peace. Be prepared to politely and respectfully tell them why any plan that involves paving the Minnesota River Trail is a poor one. Details on the event are here: http://on.fb.me/21WfOnv
Please share this post. To do it in it's entirety....and not just one of the links.....click "share" and then "copy link" and post that link in a new Facebook Status update.
Thank you for being part of something awesome!
