30 days into a hunger strike has been an agonizing experience; I have been losing excessive weight and experiencing severe dizziness; I feel weak, and my health is deteriorating by the day. I went to the A&E Birmingham City Centre Hospital for the third time; I am not sure I will ever go there again.

Before coming to the UK, I had no prior medical illness. For more than six years, the Home Office has persecuted me and arbitrarily denied me due process in violation of ICCPR Part III Art 26, the UN Convention Art 3, and ECHR Art 2 of the 1998 Human Rights Act. The Home Office terminated my asylum support for requesting documents to pursue a court case.

The Home Office has made my life a living hell; due to the dilatory tactics, my Solicitor and the Office of MP Nicolas Richards have not been able to secure the release of my documents. I have not been able to preside with my first case in the UK Court; the Home Office's reluctance to release my documents appears cove-up of alleged fraud and criminal acts.

They have failed time and time again to respect fundamental human rights, sentencing me to die. Since 2008, I have been persecuted across the Atlantic! Thus, with biased governance and abuses of power, I have been denied equal justice and treated as a criminal for defending my rights! Only Allah (God) knows what I have been through to stay alive!

I may not live long to see justice; my situation is peculiar and possibly disappears without a trace? I wish to have a peaceful life, perhaps someday enjoying grandkids; unfortunately, it seems beyond my reach? If I die senseless death? The UK Home Office bears full responsibility!

Liberty in the absence of justice is slavery! -Negash Abdelkader
