IT IS IN PROGRESSIVE ENERGY’S INTEREST TO ENSURE THAT THE PEAK CLUSTER / MORECAMBE NET ZERO (MNZ) PROJECT CAN PROCEED.

SPIRIT ENERGY own and operate the Morecambe Bay Gas Fields. 

In May 2023 they were awarded a Carbon Storage Licence by the NSTA (North Sea Transition Authority) Presumably, in order to obtain that licence, Spirit Energy must have had to provide an “independent” assessment of the suitability integrity and viability of the Morecambe Bay Gas Fields for Carbon Storage.

So who provided the “independent” assessment of the integrity and viability of the gas fields for storage of the carbon? None other than PROGRESSIVE ENERGY – the very company set to make massive profits from PEAK CLUSTER / MNZ carbon storage project.

Some would say this is the geological equivalent of marking your own homework.
