This is happening directly across from the Victoria Barracks and will be the first domino to fall, where Paddington's designation as a heritage listed area is skipped over for developer profits. 

New state government rules allow for similar developments into the heart of Paddington. 

Existing residents, who have included essential workers, creatives and students, won't be able to afford to stay in the area. This development takes away their homes. They are our community.
