The infrastructure of Berkeley County CAN NOT  handle the influx of any more residents or traffic. Our schools are inadequate, our police and fire personnel are overburden and short handed. Our hospitals are overcrowded and understaffed. Local businesses cannot keep up with the amount of people moving to the area. The post office can't handle the fast and over growing POPULATION.  The landfill has a huge problem.  They're a few years shy of running out of space for everyone's trash and ALL OF THE CONSTRUCTION WASTE ! They'll have to buy more land to store our garage!!!  Our county animal shelter is completely full. They are turning away animals that have been rescued and are brought to the shelter.  There is serious flooding issues during routine rainstorms and catastrophic flooding during periods of heavy or sustained rainfall during our frequent hurricane events.  The more people, the more problems. Crime, road rage, litter, hunting, public beaches are negatively affected. THE LIST GOES ON!   The problems caused by greedy developers are devastating to the low country, specifically to our county! STOP ALLOWING DEVELOPERS TO BUILD ON OUR BEAUTIFUL LAND!
