We, the families of the Richards Run neighborhood, urge the rejection of the proposed extension of Steeplechase Drive into the adjacent new development. This extension would compromise the safety of our children and increase the risk of crime by converting our currently protected, no-through-traffic neighborhood into a main access route to the SR 73/Richards Run traffic light.

We implore the appropriate city of Springboro/Clearcreek Township, and/or ODOT officials to consider alternative plans that preserve the safe, family-centric nature of Richards Run.
