This cannot be allowed as this will lead to a choke point on Chigwell Rise as there is only one main road going from Chigwell to Buckhurst Hill. More importantly, the people who actually live near the proposed site do not wish for this development. Fundamentally, it is about preserving our Green Belt and preventing urban sprawl. There is a distinct separation between Chigwell Village and Buckhurst Hill, and this development will impact that separation, compromising the valued openness of our Green Belt.
