Did you know that we have joined forces with campaigns across The Democracy Network to say abuse has no place in our politics. With our allies, Compassion in Politics is taking a leading role in the campaign to make sure we have a clean and decent politics. 

This exciting campaign has many parts.

We’ve been working especially closely with the Jo Cox foundation on a joint civility pledge calling on candidates to campaign to put a stop to intimidation and abuse of all forms in our political life. 

You’ve no doubt seen our work on lying in politics, but we aren’t stopping there, we are also spearheading, as a network, the campaign to make sure Ministers abide by the rules by turning the rules into law.

There will be lots going on over the next few weeks as the country votes and a new government takes office.
