Residents of Fort Greene, Downtown, Clinton Hill and even Brooklyn Heights and Prospect Heights--almost a 7 sq mile radius--are hearing a high pitch sound described as "buzzing", "droning", "humming" which is disturbing and environmentally unsound.

It is intermittent.  Can happen any time day or night.  Interferes with children's sleep, work environments and overall well being and sense of ease.

The residents are calling for some level of government to investigate our concerns.  We have called 311 and the police, the DEP can't find anything, City Councilperson hasn't responded.  Brooklyn Borough Hall?  Federal Government?  HELP!  WCBS. news described it well--https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/mysterious-humming-sound-in-fort-greene-driving-some-residents-crazy/
