Recently, the preliminary talks for a potential merger between Warner Bros. and Paramount had begun. Though it would create a behemoth capable of rivaling Disney, it would also have a negative effect on the film industry, where David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, could cancel numerous upcoming films such as the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and others in exchange for tax cuts, similarly to how he canceled the Batgirl movie and Coyote vs. Acme and Zaslav would also abuse the employees working on those films.

This is a merger that must not happen at all costs, because if it did happen, not only would Zaslav cancel numerous movies fans and audiences are excited for, his actions could bring the company into bankruptcy.
