Thank you for supporting Techno Park residents against Hobsons Bay City Council’s unjust eviction of our community. You’ve contributed more than 1500 signatures in three weeks.
Council’s threats against our homes have caused people enormous distress and desperation. Your solidarity is a balm.
Hobsons Bay City Council next meets on Tuesday 8 August at 7pm. Cr Daria Kellander has put forward a notice of motion to rescind the eviction notices, and to investigate all possible solutions to Council’s planning problem with the aim of keeping people in their homes.
So far, no other Councillor, including Labor and Greens, has agreed to second this motion. If they refuse to act, the motion will will not even be considered.
We need to show Hobsons Bay Councillors that the community wants to keep Techno Park residents in their homes, and that the community is paying attention. Next October is the Council election, and Councillors are counting on our votes!

- Join us for our rally and march to the council meeting and bring your friends, families, and musical instruments! Tuesday August 8, 5.30pm at Logan Reserve, Altona, marching to Altona Civic Centre ahead of the 7pm meeting.
