The Marshalls ferret brand (also known as Marshalls Farms), owned by Scott Marshall, is a company that mass produces ferrets, as well as sells products that are in no way, shape, or form safe for ferrets. They sell toys that ferrets have easily chewed up which has caused blockages in ferrets, causing them to throw up multiple times, go to the vet, and sometimes even die. Some toys ferrets have got caught inside of and died. (The Octo-Play toy) 

Marshalls also makes and sells food and treats that do not sufficiently provide the proper needs of a ferrets diet. Their foods contain ingredients such as: Chicken by-products, cornmeal, Choline Chloride, BHA, rosemary extract, and more. All of these ingredients are harmful to ferrets, hard to digest, and can give ferrets diseases, sicknesses, and guess what….BLOCKAGES!!! YAYYYY!! 

Also, Marshalls is basically the only brand for ferrets sold in pet stores. Which is horrible since when people buy animals and they look on the shelves and buy anything marketed for that animal. 

All of these things set aside, Marshalls is a brand who supports and participates in animal abusing and testing. They breed, test on, abuse, and sell for testing many animals such as ferrets, beagles, and more. PETA is trying to get them shut down.

The ferrets, as i recently stated, aren’t the only animals being abused, Beagles are actively tested on, sold to be tested on, abused, choked, and much, much more. They need saved just as much. 

The only downside to shutting down Marshalls is that pet stores wouldn’t be able to sell ferrets until another mass production company comes into the picture. 

The plus side to that is everyone would have to buy from private breeders and many animals would be saved and live a better life than what they have.

We should, at the VERRYYYY least, stop them from abusing animals and add different healthier brands to shelves.
