We Won in Lovejoy — Now It's Time to Protect All of Clayton County

Victory belongs to the community. Together, we successfully stopped the proposed Stillwater Technology Park and its planned data center in Lovejoy. This victory happened because residents organized, spoke up, signed petitions, attended meetings, and refused to be ignored. Thank you to every person who stood with us. But our work is not over. Now let's set our sights on Clayton County. We are calling on the Clayton County Board of Commissioners to take proactive action before another data center proposal reaches our neighborhoods. We are asking our commissioners to: - Prohibit data centers in Clayton County through clear zoning and land-use ordinances. - Adopt moratoriums where appropriate while comprehensive policies are developed. - Require complete transparency by publicly disclosing any applications, permits, incentives, or proposals for data centers as soon as they are submitted. - Keep residents informed through open meetings, published documents, and timely public notice so citizens have a meaningful opportunity to participate.
