Disclaimer:I don't know if this is nationwide or just my state of Utah. 

anyways the state/national government is trying to pass a bill limiting/stoping school therapy programs because I have therapy at my school this will affect me as well as countless others who are therapists/students. this needs immediate action because jobs could be lost and peoples mental health could get worse. 

I understand that students should talk to there parents about it which is what they are trying to do but some students feel more comfortable taking to therapists more than there parents this can be because of many reasons like perhaps diviorce or other family drama 

I started therapy after my parents divorce because of my autism too I fell like I have to hide my emoutions specifically with my dad because he has because a whole different person. after the divorce he married another  woman that is nice but seems a bit off to me there's just something tells me that this not right. 

studies show therapy improves mental health by changing the brain into a healthier state. it also shows that many mental health conditions are curing by therapy just as well as medications or ever better. therapy also makes mental health conditions like PTSD less serve
