STOP the Life Station rezoning to Industrial

The Issue

Life Station was a nonprofit property located at 55255 Bittersweet Rd. Mishawaka IN and was supposed to remain a nonprofit for the life of the property.  The caretaker had to abandon the property due to his wife's illness. He gave it to Bashor Children's Home for $1.00.  Now Bashor is selling it to a company that wants it rezoned to INDUSTRIAL.  It is a 66 acre equine therapy ranch & a home to so much wildlife, not 66 acres of industrial land.  What about the stream that runs thru it, and the ponds, and wetlands???   The zoning meeting that was supposed to be on Tuesday September 20th 2022 at 3:30 pm has been changed to October 18th 2022 at 3:30 pm.   Please sign our petition, there are many people that would like to revive Life Station back to an extraordinary equine therapy ranch that will make a difference in people's lives.
