Natural England Issue Patronising Response - But Our Campaign Is Making Big News!..
Hi folks,
Well our campaign is really gaining some traction now - we had a good piece in The Times this morning (did you see it?) and there has been plenty of interest from the media - I'm hopeful of more publicity for the campaign (watch this space).
All this means that we are being heard - and listened to.
Yesterday Natural England provided a lacklustre acknowledgement of the huge public backlash against them - by way of a blog post that told us very little. I'd provide a link but it's not really worth reading (it's on their blog anyway).
It adds insult to injury when they consider that such a patronising response will pacify a growing group of good people (that's us!) who really care and are becoming ever more angry and frustrated.
We're at about 67,000 signatures as I write.
I've amended the title of our petition to include all the other birds that are being targeted.
Now is the time to share and share some more.
