Stop the Laurel Ranch Gas Station — Park Ridge Already Said No!
The Issue
In November 2024, the Park Ridge community in Antioch, CA showed up and won. The Antioch Planning Commission agreed: a proposed gas station, convenience store, and carwash at Laurel Road and Country Hills Drive would not add value to our neighborhood — and the land was improperly zoned when it was purchased. In April 2026, we showed up again. Our community made its voice clear at the public hearing. However, no final decision has been made. The proposal is still active, and the developer still has opportunities to revise, appeal, or reintroduce this project. That means this is not over — and continued community support is critical. We are a residential neighborhood. Families have invested here. A gas station at this location would bring increased traffic, noise, light pollution, and potential impacts to safety and property values — on land that was never properly intended for this use. Signing this petition strengthens our position as a community and ensures we are prepared for the next steps — including any future hearings or a potential City Council review. If this moves forward again, we need to be ready with a clear, unified voice. Add your name to show continued opposition and protect the future of our neighborhood.
