Saturday 1st March at Murray Bridge I attended the service with a few of Neville's closest friends for the inclusion of his name on the Memorial Wall. A convoy of trucks came down the hill with banners attached to the front of their trucks in memory of Drivers lost. It was both emotional but a proud moment for us to be there. I would like to thank Simon and Cathy Morrison for arranging it all and for Simon who drove his green Peterbuilt truck displaying Nev's banner. We now have a place we can visit nearer to home to remember him. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Slim
In the meantime I am still waiting for a reply from Queensland Minister Brent Mickelberg to arrange a meeting to discuss issuing of truck licences in Queensland. I did have a reply saying his office had received my letter and had forwarded it on to him for his consideration. I am hopeful while in Queensland this month he can meet with me in his Buderim office. I will keep you posted.
