The IRSC Foundation Board will be meeting in Okeechobee, and this is a critical opportunity for residents to address the proposed Okee-One Data Center directly.
Your Right to Speak: Citizens may attend and participate during the “Public Comment” portion of the meeting. This is your chance to share concerns about environmental risks, water usage, public health impacts, and community well-being.
Why This Matters: Decisions made by the IRSC Foundation Board could influence the project’s development and funding. Having a strong, visible community presence sends a clear message that Okeechobee residents demand responsible, transparent, and evidence-based decision-making.
How You Can Participate:
- Attend the meeting and sign up to speak during Public Comment.
- Bring written statements to support your points.
- Invite neighbors, friends, and community members to join and show support.
Every voice counts. Together, we can ensure that the Foundation Board hears the community’s concerns loud and clear.
