New state legislation, AB303, gives control back to locals, increases setbacks from homes, hospitals, schools and other sensitive receptors. Assemblymember Addis (Morro Bay) has drafted a bill that would give control back to local communities and protect them from the dangers of lithium ion battery energy storage. The bill proposes 3200 foot setbacks and other regulations to ensure communities are protected.

We need to flood our decision-makers with letters. The goal is to reach 1000 letters.  We’re currently at about 250.”
