On the news tonight- 
I had to watch this a few times to even understand how this even happens today…..

Ok!! What can we do!? *The inhumane transport of live horses to Japan! For slaughter. Cargo boxes, Winepeg. 79 horses. No food or water or rest for longer than 28 hours. 3 horses collapsed in the air. Canadian law states horses should not be, and cannot be by law, in the air for that period of time. 
Prime minister Trudeau promised  animal welfare and several other groups in the 2021 federal election the ban of live export,  included in the minister of agriculture in 2021 mandate letter. 2/3 of Canadians are against the horse export of slaughter, But no action has soon been taken. 
They’ve called out to the minister so many times they’ve lost count. 
 a year and a half later, and nothing has been done.  these horses are on the tarmac 3 1/2 hours before they’re even loaded with nothing to eat or drink. Winnipeg is not the only one, most are coming from Calgary. They are asking for Canadians to speak out to stop this. 
Thousands are shipped every year this way. At least ONE EXPORT EACH MONTH from CALGARY IN THE WINTER! 

They are being shipped across the world for a niche  market called raw  Sakura. 

All of this was on the news, but not how  we can help, or who to contact. It says Canadian’s, speak up. Well, where do we speak up!?
