If the media covered this issue, could we give this petition more exposure?

This is an issue not only in Seattle, but in every state in the nation! 

"Chicagoans experienced 980 converter thefts, or 15 percent more over that time frame than second-ranked Sacramento, Calif., which had 850. Among states, California (8,072) led the nation with more than four times as many catalytic converter thefts than second-ranked Texas (1,705); Illinois was third with 1,605."  (See the whole article with the url posted below)

And these are not representative of total numbers! Only the insured thefts!!

While we cannot completely stop the buying and selling of catalytic converters immediately, we can but an end to the perpetual loophole the online marketplace provides for these unauthorized transactions.
